iCapital acquires Hexure

iCapital has announced the acquisition of Hexure, a digital sales automation provider for the insurance and financial sectors, as part of its strategy to deepen its footprint in insurance technology and expand its annuities offering. This acquisition aims to create the industry's first fully integrated end-to-end annuity and insurance technology platform by aligning Hexure’s capabilities with iCapital’s existing offerings.

The financial specifics of the deal remain undisclosed. However, iCapital indicated that the acquisition would enable a seamless integration of Hexure’s digital solutions, such as the FireLight digital sales platform and the ForeSight illustration technology, into its platform. This consolidation is set to provide a streamlined, end-to-end experience for advisors and clients, transforming the traditionally fragmented insurance ecosystem into a cohesive operating system that supports the entire lifecycle of insurance products.
