Inszone Insurance Services acquires Ohio Valley Insurance

Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Ohio Valley Insurance, an acquisition that reinforces the expansion of its operations in the Midwest. The deal strengthens Inszone's credentials in agricultural and crop insurance, as Ohio Valley Insurance has specialized in serving this niche since its founding in 2003.

Established by Dan Hardaway and later co-owned by Allan Murray and Lindsey Hagan, Ohio Valley Insurance evolved from offering primarily crop insurance to expanding their portfolio in 2014. Despite the acquisition, the existing team at Ohio Valley will remain intact with Murray continuing to lead client service initiatives. Murray emphasized that the partnership will offer existing clients access to a broader network and additional resources while maintaining the service standards they have come to rely on.

Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone, noted that Ohio Valley Insurance's expertise in agricultural insurance fits seamlessly with Inszone's strategic goals. Walters highlighted the trust Ohio Valley has cultivated with its clients, focusing on the very specific risks that agricultural businesses face. This acquisition, as Walters points out, will allow Inszone to deepen its presence in agricultural insurance and enhance service delivery to these communities.

This transaction is part of Inszone’s broader acquisition strategy, which has seen it complete over 130 acquisitions, supported by investment partnerships with BHMS Investments and Lightyear Capital. The firm has built a considerable geographic presence, spanning more than 20 states, reflecting its aggressive growth in both the Midwestern and Southern United States.

Going forward, the focus will likely be on integrating Ohio Valley seamlessly while leveraging its established client relationships and sector knowledge. Maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring a smooth transition for both clients and employees will be essential as Inszone consolidates its new acquisition into its broader infrastructure.
